He is ticklish

I was playing with Oliver after we got home from his 3 month pictures and I found out that he is just a little bit ticklish. He kept laughing every time I would tickle him :)

3 Months Old!!!

We took his pictures for his 3 month birthday today. He was a very happy boy today. We also took him in to get professional pictures today and we did family pictures too. He cooperated pretty well for the pictures, but we had a few too many outfits to try out and he got tired of that, but we definitely got some good ones. It made it a little easier to pick out the ones we wanted since he cried while wearing 2 of the 3 outfits :)
We tried out the high chair this week. He sat it in while I made supper one night. He seemed to be all right with it, I'm sure it will be much more fun when he gets to eat in the high chair.
Another new adventure for Ollie was the exersaucer. He seemed like he was somewhat interested in it, but didn't really smile or get upset so I guess he was just okay with it.
This picture is from tummy time. He does really well at holding his head up when he's on his tummy and has started to rock a little bit in an effort to eventually roll. If we catch him a in a good mood and ready for tummy time, he will hang out for a good 10 minutes, but that is usually only a few times a week, most of the time it is 4 or 5 minute stretches.
Have a good week everyone!!

Peek-a-boo

Oliver woke up in a very happy mood this morning and was playing peek-a-boo with us. He was pulling the blanket up and down over his face. He found it pretty entertaining and we were pretty excited about it ourselves.

My favorites

These are some of my favorite pictures of our little Ollie man. He is holding his head up a lot more and he likes to be up and looking around at what we are doing. He is also a fan of tv- him and Eric watched cartoons this morning.

Finally caught some smiles

Here are some of Oliver's smiles that we have caught lately. He was very happy all day today and was full of smiles and laughs.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! Oliver seemed to enjoy his first Valentine's Day, except for taking his picture. We got this one, but he was pretty upset in the rest of the pictures. He has learned to shut off all smiles whenever a camera comes near him, we are hoping that changes soon.

Oliver with his Valentine's Day card from Mom & Dad and his new rattle. As you can tell, he was very excited.
We had a relaxed Valentine's Day this year. We got a heart-shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's and enjoyed that with some heart-shaped sugar cookies.

A Walk in the Park

Today the weather was wonderful, 58 degrees! We know have little to no snow anymore :) We took Oliver outside for his first walk. He seemed to enjoy it and Eric and I really liked getting outside for awhile. We walked around a nearby park. Here are a few pictures of our afternoon.
Getting ready for our walk outside

So this is what the world looks like, I usually only see the back side of a blanket
Daddy pushing Oliver along while he was still awake
And after about 5 minutes of looking around, he fell asleep and stayed this way until we got home.

2 month appointment

Who would have guessed that this is what happens after he gets shots. He was a little more tired than usual today, but was really happy and alert when he was awake. Eric took him in for his appointment because I was watching kids at home. He said that he cried a little bit right after the shots, but he settled down pretty quickly. He weighs 12 lbs, 1 oz and is 22 3/4 inches long.
My crooked picture of him says, a toy, what do I do with this?
Next one says, well I guess I might as well stick it in my mouth.

He is starting to "play" with toys a little bit more. He holds rattles and different toys when we put them in his hand. He actually napped with a ring the other day because he never let go. He started shaking a rattle last night and today he moved this toy up to his mouth a few times.
