Oliver's Newest Skill

Danielle was over and showing her patty-cake skills and Oliver decided it was about time he tried something like that out. He seems to be pretty proud of his new skill!

Visitors

We had some visitors over the weekend. Dale, Audrey, and Madison were able to stay with us from Friday afternoon to Saturday morning and then Jess, Marcus, Leah, and Danielle stayed from Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. It was a fun time. We hung out most of the time and enjoyed each others' company. Here are a few pictures:

Our Day in Chicago

At Navy Pier on Monday evening

Oliver hung out in his stroller while we ate dinner on Navy Pier. After dinner, we walked around and enjoyed the weather.

The rest of the pictures are from our day at the museum of Science and Industry. It was a fun time. We saw almost all of the exhibits including the Harry Potter exhibit (you couldn't take pictures in there though). It was a very fun day. Out off all the exhibits, Oliver's favorite was all of the mirrors, he loved those. :)

4th of July

Oliver enjoyed his first 4th of July. We went to fireworks in a nearby town Friday night. He was a little unsure of the fireworks, but as long as one of us was holding him close and talking to him during the fireworks, he seemed all right. On the 4th, we spent the whole day at home. It was rainy and so the local parade and fireworks were canceled. That was all right though, it was nice to spend a quiet day at home.
