Comparisons

Here is all 3 of the kids at 4 months old.  Julia still reminds me of Parker, but a little less than when she was a newborn.  She also seems to have a little rounder face like Oliver.

Happy Tuesday!

Happy girl (with her brother's tattooed arm)

Parker posing for a picture with Julia

By the time I got Oliver over into the picture and Julia looking, Parker was getting up and running off

Happy girl again- She is starting to move her legs in a way that I think she is trying to get herself in a sitting position

Oliver and his baby Tim- he spends lots of time during the day taking care of him.  We have to make baby Tim his own spot at bedtime  (see where baby Tim began: http://ericsaraoliver.blogspot.com/2010/10/new-baby.html)

Oliver making a silly face- he always wants to do silly things for the camera which usually involves dancing around.  I told him that I can't get a good picture when he moves so much and that he needs to just make a silly face and hold still- this is what I got :)

Pretty girl!

Parker has been talking more and more lately.  He always has something to add.  He also loves to give hugs.

Oliver has lots of entertaining things to say.  Tonight he was looking at something he had made in Sunday school and said "is God everywhere?"  We told him yes- then he told us "well, God isn't on the table because no one is supposed to be on the table."   Oliver said to tell everyone he has a hundred questions.

Julia is rolling and scooting all over the place.  She loves playing with toys.

Monday

We are still waiting on some important calls, but are hoping we'll be able to make a decision this week. I worked on some stuff around the house today- it started out not so well- my spackle was all dry, I got the caulk tube stuck in the caulk gun, and forgot to have Eric bring the ladder in before he left in the morning.  I was able to get more done later though- I did some caulking and some painting.  I also went to Menards and picked up new spackle and some more paint.  I'm hoping to get quite a bit of work done tomorrow.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll take some pictures of the kids.  Julia was wearing some new jeans today- she looked pretty grown up.  Two weeks from today, she goes in for her 6 month appointment- that seems so crazy.  We are supposed to get some snow tomorrow and the next day, I'm sure Oliver & Parker will be excited if we do.  Happy Monday!

Slacking again

Parker was working on a Thomas puzzle yesterday.  He is doing really well with puzzles- he actually finished the whole puzzle once, but got distracted this time while I was taking pictures so I didn't get a finished product picture.

Birthday Party Fun

We went to a birthday party for our goddaughter, Jami, tonight.  It was at a gymnastics place and the boys had tons of fun.  They had an obstacle course set up for the kids to do and then they also got free time to play wherever.  Oliver did really well with the activities, but we definitely need to work on patience and listening.  He had a bit of a hard time waiting his turn and listening while the coaches explained what the kids were supposed to be doing.  He did reasonably well, but needs some practice in those areas.  He talked about wanting to take a class there so we will have to do some more talking.  Parker loved running and playing on all of the equipment.

The parachute was pretty cool- they let the kids take turns sitting in the middle and then they would run in a circle with the parachute and twist them around.  They also had all of the adults help at the end and let the kids run underneath of it.

Foam pit time!

Party time!

Friday night

Quiet night here- kids are all sleeping for the moment.  Watching Harry Potter with Eric while he does some dissertation work.  I think Julia and I are going to hit the outlet mall for some sales tomorrow. We also have a birthday party in the evening at a gymnastics place- I am sure the boys will have fun.  I'm. Going to cuddle up and catch up on some sleep from last night.  Happy weekend! Oh and no news from Madison yet- hopefully Monday!

About 8 hours late

So between spacing it off a few times and not having all 3 kids sleeping at the same time until after midnight last night, I am a little late on this post.  I did take the pictures yesterday with good intentions of making a post.  I started packing some boxes up yesterday- it is crazy to think we are really getting close to the next step.  The search committee at Wisconsin-Madison is supposed to be meeting today to make a decision- that hopefully means we'll be hearing something from them potentially today, but more likely early next week.

Apparently this is the best way to sit on the couch
