We had a busy Easter weekend. Saturday morning, we got up and went to an Easter egg hunt in Champaign. The Easter Bunny was there, Oliver was a little unsure of the giant bunny, but he went over and told him hi and gave him five. There were A LOT of kids at the Easter egg hunt. They had it split into age groups so that made it much better for us.
Parker hanging out in his car seat waiting for Oliver to go hunt Easter eggs.
We went for a walk while we were waiting to hunt eggs and Oliver took a seat in the grass.
This is just some of the kids waiting to hunt Easter eggs. You can't see the other sidewalk, but just a little ways over to the right of the picture was another sidewalk. The people between that sidewalk and the sidewalk pictured are just the kids in the 0-2 range.
Saturday afternoon, Amy & Cody got to our house. We spent some time playing outside and even went for a walk to a nearby park. After supper, we dyed Easter eggs. Oliver did really well and was pretty patient- it helped to have a 4-1 adult-to-child ratio. :) Cody hadn't ever dyed Easter eggs before so Oliver helped to show him how to do it.
After church, we stopped at a park on the way home and took the boys' pictures in front of some tulips.
When we got home from church, the Easter Bunny had came and made two little boys pretty happy.
Oliver hunted for Easter eggs around our living room.
Parker got a new toy to play with.
Parker was pretty interested in the book the Easter Bunny brought him.
Oliver was very excited about his peeps. He only managed to eat one of them this morning, but I'm not sure how many marshmallows he ate :)
Parker got a bib that said My first Easter and was very cooperative getting his picture taken.
I tried to get a picture of Oliver and he spread out on the couch.
The boys in their Easter outfits- notice their socks! :)

LOVE the outfits, especially the socks! Can't wait to figure out a time to see you all - sorry we didn't get to talk longer this weekend. Where's is Eric's matching sweater vest and socks?! That would have been even better! Love you guys!
