12 months of Parker

I never got around to posting all of Parker's month pictures so I thought I would make a collage of them.  So here it is.  I think it turned out pretty good- it makes me want to go back and pull all of Oliver's pictures and make one of his too.  Parker is running everywhere and climbing everything.  He likes to climb into our toy bins and play in them.  He loves his ride-on tractor he got for his birthday.  He also loves bath and I am fairly certain will eventually go in fully clothed because as soon as he hears the water running, he is in the bathroom trying to climb into the tub.  :)

Parker's 1 year picture- taken at 9:05 AM on December 26, 2011.

Here is a picture of my mom (Grandma and Great-Grandma to the crew of kids in the picture).  All of the kids are 3 and under- 8 boys and 1 girl.  From left to right- Braydon (Jacob's son), Oliver (mine), Marshall (Jessica's son), my mom, George (Joe's son), Danielle (Jessica's daughter), Timothy (Randy's son), Henry (Randy's son).  In front- Parker (mine) and Ethan (Jill's son).  They are quite a crew and hard to get a picture of all them being happy and looking. 

We do family pictures at Christmas and here is ours.  After the pictures, we read the Christmas story- Randy read it this year.  Then we pass out and open presents.  It was a very fun day with lots of visiting and snacking.  We played some cards later in the evening. 

He Walks!

Parker had been taking a few steps here and there, but wasn't quite to the walking point when we got back to Iowa (December 18th- very early in the morning).  That Sunday, he started doing a lot more walking and improved drastically just during that day.  By the end of our trip, he was mostly a walker and only crawls every once in a while.  He is pretty fast now and doesn't fall to often.  He is getting so big so fast!

Parker's 1st Birthday

Parker had a cupcake after dinner on his birthday.  He enjoyed eating it so much that Aunt Audrey gave him a bath afterward.

Parker opened a present from us on his birthday and was very happy to get a tractor.

The inside of the birthday cake.  It was so fun to make it with all of the colors.  I was very happy with how the cake turned out.  And it must have tasted good- we only had one piece left.

We had Parker's 1st Birthday party at my mom's house.  It was on New Year's Eve and we had quite a crew of people to help him celebrate.  He is a very lucky little boy and was the recipient of many wonderful gifts.  We are so thankful that so many people came and celebrated with us.

4 Boys in a Tent

Christmas Day has come and gone.  Here are a few pictures from Christmas morning.  I will post more pictures soon, but here is a start.  Oliver, Henry, Timmy, and Parker had matching pajamas for Christmas morning (Thank you Aunt Kathy & Uncle Dale) and the 4 of them were playing in Oliver's tent from Santa.  I think if I used some serious photoshopping skills, I might be able to make one decent picture out of these 12 pictures.
